Iowa Chapters to help them obtain supplies to
conduct DAR business during the Steinke
Administration.
CHAPTERS
- Chapters may purchase supplies and
materials to help them conduct DAR business.
Items may be purchased by calling the DAR
Store Toll free (888) 673-2732 or (202)
879-3217. Items may also be purchased online
at https://shop.dar.org/! This includes
items such as awards, stationary, bank bags,
guest books, Acid Free Paper (25%cotton,
legal size 8.5” x 14”) and resources to help
your chapter operate. Online orders have a
minimum amount of $15 with standard shipping
rates and arrive within 7-10 business days.
MEMBERS
- The DAR Store also carries other popular
items such as jewelry, apparel, junior
membership items, flags, novelties &
gifts, publications and NSDAR items specific
to the Wright Administration. Online orders
have a minimum amount of $15 with standard
shipping rates and arrive within 7-10
business days.
CHAPTER DAR BANNER
- DAR banner flags can be personalized with
your chapter’s name. There are two sizes
available: 4x6ft and 3x5ft in either parade
or outdoor option. They are available to
purchase online along with the corresponding
flag poles and stands. Orders can take up to
4-6 weeks to process and ship. Please plan
accordingly when ordering. You may bring
your chapter flag with pole and stand to
display at the annual ISDAR State Conference
held in the spring.
CORRESPONDING SECRETARY SALES
TABLE
- This officer will have a sales table
available at state meetings. Offerings will
include popular chapter supplies such as
Acid Free paper (25% cotton, legal size 8.5”
x 14”) used for applications, stationary,
Robert’s Rules of Order books, and genealogy
worksheets. Other fun items will also be
available.
STATE DIRECTORY
- Another duty of the Corresponding
Secretary is to compile, publish, and
maintain a directory listing of the
Iowa Society State Officers, State Chairmen
and Chapter Regents, Vice-Regents,
Treasurers and
Registrars. As you have changes during the
year, please let me know. The ISDAR
Directory is available
on the ISDAR Website.
