Welcome to the Jean Marie Cardinell Chapter,
National Society of the Daughters of the
American Revolution (NSDAR or DAR), located in
Des Moines, Iowa. Headquartered in Washington,
D.C., the DAR is a non-profit, non-political
volunteer women's service organization dedicated
to promoting patriotism, preserving American
history, and securing America's future through
better education for children. It was founded on
October 11, 1890.
