Chapter meetings are held the second
Friday of the month, except for July and
August.
Meetings include: the ritualistic
openings, devotions, patriotic
recitations, as well as the reading of the
President General’s Message and a report
of the National Defense Committee. Reports
are presented by the chapter chairmen of
the committees. Guest speakers, as well as
members, provide interesting programs
relating to a wide variety of subjects.
The Shenandoah Chapter, NSDAR, is an
active chapter and in February, the DAR
Good Citizens award is presented at an
Awards Tea. The chapter also supports
historic preservation, promotes education,
and fosters patriotism.
If you are interested in attending a
meeting, please contact the chapter regent.
