Chapter meetings are held at 1:30 p.m. on
the first Monday of each month from September
through June, except for January. Meeting
locations vary.
Meetings include ritualistic openings,
devotions, patriotic recitations, as well as
the reading of the President General’s Message
and a report from the National Defense
Committee. Reports are presented by the
chapter chairmen of the committees. Guest
speakers, as well as members, provide
interesting programs relating to a wide
variety of subjects.
The Washington Chapter, NSDAR, is an active
chapter and in June, the chapter hosts a Flag
Day ceremony. The chapter also supports
historic preservation, promotes education, and
fosters patriotism.
If you are interested in attending a meeting,
please contact the chapter
regent. |
